OFF TO SCHOOL

so excited to go to school

Corbin started first grade two weeks ago. I cant believe summer is over and school has begun, Corbin feels the same way. when I asked him after his firs today of school if he liked it he hold me he never wants to come back. so sad to hear but also knowing its going to be a long school year if he feels this way now.
it just takes time to get back in the school routine and I hope when his teacher Mrs. Kennard comes to school ( who broke her leg during summer break) he will love it and her. she is older and we all know how much Corbin likes the older ladies. he is a man cougar !

to the worlds most amazing Granada,

I love you so dearly you have taught me so much, it has not been the same since we lost you almost a year ago. but we have all stayed strong. your memory lives in all of us.
In ten more days it will be a year since I also saw you, and even longer since we last spoke.
I don't even remember if I got the chance to thank you for all you did for me, mostly just loving me for being me. you were always there for me to help me out no matter what.
I remember begging you to go to the Dr. but we both new it wasn't going to be good news,( cancer of course ) all I wanted was for you to live longer and see my baby boy who would come a few short months after you passed, you wanted to meet him before you left. I know you got to meet him. how selfish of me thinking of myself and not you. towards the end I told you that I loved you and to say hi to grandpa and Paul, I know you were so excited to see them.
I will never forget your sweet spirit and your food was so yummy what an great example you have been to me.
when I had Bennett I could you feel you there with me, and sometimes when I see Ben smiling at the wall I like to think its you there playing with him, who knows maybe you are.
you will forever be in my heart, until we meet again

                                        your grand daughter Lisa

BENNY

eight months already it sure has gone by fast, I think I have learned to love the baby stage more now that I know our my last. I want you to stay my baby forever, and never grow up. I look at your brothers getting so big I get excited to think about who you will be more like what kind of person you will be, but it makes me sad at the same time.
know matter how old you get you Will always be baby Ben.

what we know about this little guy already is...

he loves attention, hugs from big brothers, water bottles, going on walks, you love tickles and a blanket to cuddle when he sleeps.
things he hate, peaches, daddy making loud noises, and when his bottle is all gone.

in a few shorts months you are going to be one years old what a sad and happy day for me to watch you grow. we love you more everyday and cant wait to see what you do next.
